Managed to finish this project on time. Thought it would be fun to create prosthetics based on animal limbs.

The New Old Thing

Decided to re-render an old project using 3ds Max rather than Strata. Sigh... didn't render at the size I was supposed to, but it looks a butt load better.

Looks like this is the final digital painting for my thesis. Now it's just time to go back and make sure everything else I've produced this year lines up with this.

The Gulper Eel

First post in pretty much forever. I'm going to start posting my thesis related work during my final semester.

This is a gulper eel, a nasty looking thing that isn't all that dangerous. It's eating technique is quite similar to that of a pelican's. It also tends to look like a boot, the sea hold many an oddity.
